Tesla-Optimus Teslabot: Mass Production Ready and SCOTT Bot Model

Tesla has released the video of the Optimus Teslabot, showing vastly improved balance and hand control. They plan to begin mass producing the robots in November and using a cost savings model by Dr. Scott Walter, Tesla could save 20%, 50% and even 90% labor costs by using the robots instead of human workers.

Tesla has released new video of the Optimus Teslabot. They are showing vastly improved balance and hand control. The critical thing is like the FSD (full self driving ) for cars, all of the training is all neural nets and video in and capabilities out.

Tesla could begin mass producing Teslabots in November with Tesla factory made actuators. Dr. Scott Walter has cofounded 2 robotics companies. He goes in depth about the business model for Tesla's Optimus humanoid robot. He explains that this technology is seeing massive growth and advancement, and could even be used for the excavation of minerals or building construction. Dr. Scott Walter then goes on to suggest a cost savings analysis through a model he calls the SCOTT Bot Model. He uses this to compare the labor costs of human workers vs. Teslabots. His analysis suggests that if 1 Teslabot can do one shift, the labor cost savings are 20%, 2 shifts is 50% and 3 shifts is 90%. These savings are largely due to the improved efficiency brought about by these robots.

To conclude, Tesla will be beginning production of Teslabots in their Gigafactory plant located in Nevada. The cost savings from these robot workers means they could eventually replace human workers in the future, greatly increasing the labor efficiency for Tesla.
